Dear Families,
I can finally announce that today is the last day of learning from home and learning from school combination. I’d like to thank all the school community for supporting our staff team during these challenging times, especially those who have taken on the job of supporting learning at home, many of those who are, have also juggled their own personal work and family commitments. The teaching staff have done an outstanding job in completely changing the way they operate, providing learning opportunities in a variety of forms, to suite the varying needs of our students.
Next week we return to the ‘new’ normal of school. I have already outlined the key messaged regarding dropping and collecting students from school. I have attached this information in todays newsletter again. Please contact the school if you have any queries or concerns about this process. Please note that children are requested NOT to bring toys, play items and sports equipment to school – to support our increased hygiene routines.
In preparation for 2021 we are now taking enrolments for Kindergarten. Please see the information attached and fill out the form and return by the end of term 2. The process is the same as previous years, with out of area requests having to meet a set of criteria and accordingly ranked for entry.
As a school we cannot wait to have all students back on site learning next week. We have clear protocols in place to ensure the environment is hygienic and safe and I thank you in advance for supporting us with the new process.
See you at the gate on Monday!
Regards
Michael

Getty Art Challenge
One of our on-line tasks given to the children in 3-4 Coe-Moore was the Getty Art Challenge. The children were asked to recreate a work of art with household objects (and people) from the comfort of their home. They have certainly not disappointed with some extremely creative designs being sent in to us. We hope you enjoy watching our little film.
Exciting News – Congratulations Mira
Mira entered the Home Imaginarium writing competition, with a story she wrote in class earlier in the year - Dinosaur in a Supermarket. She won! Part of the prize was for an Australian children’s author to read her story out loud on instagram. That was last tonight - here’s the link for all our school community to view:
