We have had a fun and busy start to our Prep year! We used watercolour paints to create self portraits, and as part of our work on Wellbeing we are exploring the concept of being a 'bucket filler' and 'bucket dipper.'  This is the idea that everyone has a 'bucket' which we can fill with good feelings by being helpful and showing care and kindness. Conversely, doing things that are unkind or uncaring can take away from someone’s bucket. The children have embraced this idea wholeheartedly and are making a wonderful effort to be ‘bucket fillers’ each day!
