These students have already displayed great leadership skills supporting our students at our 3-6 Athletics carnival last week.  Our House Captains will also be attending the GRIP leadership conference at MyState Arena on Tuesday 11th of March, where they will work with students from other schools to develop their leadership skills.

Student Leadership Group

This year we have established a new student leadership group for students in years 2-6. Each term a new group will be formed, and different students will have the opportunity to take on a class representative role within the Student Leadership Group. Students in classes from 2/3 have nominated to be part of the group and classes have selected 2 representatives for Term 1. Each term the group will work on a different project for the term.  This term the Student Leadership Group will be supporting the organisation of a new initiative, an activities afternoon for all students in Prep to Year 6.  This group will also be involved in organising fundraising endeavours for different causes.

Congratulations to our class representatives for Term 1. - Absent: Charlotte and Cleo

Daily PE Leaders

Mr Latham has been working with some Grade 6 students to prepare them for their role as Daily PE leaders.  The students have been working really hard, and we are hoping to begin our Daily PE program in Week 6.  It is great so many Year 6 students are keen to be part of this very worthwhile program supporting our students to be more active. Absent from photo: Cleo, Sophie, Marlin and Edward
