ANZAC Day in 3/4CJ

Earlier this term, our class learnt about the importance of ANZAC Day.  As part of our learning, we shared information about family members who had served in a war.  Following this, we created portraits of our relatives or other soldiers of servicemen or women.  Using our knowledge of what the conditions were like for our relatives and soldiers and nurses, we also created diaries and letters and published them using a collage technique inspired by the book, The Beach They Called Gallipoli by Jackie French and Bruce Whatley.   Please come to our classroom and have a closer look at our great writing and portraits.
