Principals Message

Dear Families,

It’s hard to believe we are already in the final two weeks of Term 2. The year is certainly flying by, and it has been a wonderful term filled with learning, growth, and connection.

Over the past fortnight, it was fantastic to see so many parents attend our parent-teacher interviews. These conversations are such an important part of your child’s learning journey. They provide valuable opportunities to celebrate progress, share insights, and work together to support your child at school. Thank you for making the time to be part of these discussions.

Onn Tuesday 1st July, our students will have the opportunity to experience The NED Show, an engaging performance that promotes a positive mindset through the themes of Never give up, Encourage others, and Do your best. The students loved the interactive show and its powerful messages about resilience and kindness. As part of the program, yo-yos are available for purchase at the office to help reinforce these lessons through play.

Tomorrow, Wednesday 25th June, our Kinder to Year 2 students will take part in the Bravehearts’ Ditto’s Keep Safe Adventure Show. This important program teaches children essential personal safety skills using age-appropriate language, songs, and dance. It’s a fun, engaging way to help our youngest learners build the confidence and knowledge they need to keep themselves safe.

A reminder that our final assembly of the term will be held on Friday, 4th July. This will be a special NAIDOC Week assembly, where we come together to celebrate and honour the rich history, culture, and achievements of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. We warmly invite all families to join us for this important event.

Thank you for your ongoing support as we head towards the end of another busy and successful term.

Warm regards,

Michael
