Last week, as part of our Science/STEM unit, our young scientists in 3/4 Brelis enjoyed some fun challenges experimenting with solids, liquids and gases and things got bright, bubbly and a bit messy! Armed with curiosity and some food dye and shaving cream, students captured rainbows in a jar!

Then came the lava lamps DIY style. With oil, water, food colouring, glitter and a dash of science magic (Alka-Seltzer), students watched in awe as colourful blobs danced and fizzed like a disco party in a bottle!

These hands-on experiments were a lot of fun and a great way to explore how different states of matter interact.
