Excursion on the Lady Nelson for 3/4B and 3/4CJ – Wednesday 10th of September.
On Wednesday the 10th of September 3/4B and 3/4CJ will be going on a cruise on the Derwent River on the tall ship, The Lady Nelson. This excursion forms part of our HASS learning for the term.
3/4B will be having their cruise from 10:00 -11.30
3/4CJ will be having their cruise from 12.00-1.30.
The classes will be walking down to the wharf area from school and will also walk back after the excursion.
After the cruise, 3/4B will go to Princes Park to eat their lunch and have a play. They will return to school by approx. 1.30pm.
3/4CJ will walk to Princes Park at approx. 10.30am and will have their recess and a play at the park. They will then walk across to the Lady Nelson at Constitution Dock.
Students are asked to wear school uniform, bring plenty of food and drinks and also pack warm clothes in case it is cold on the water.
Parent help is welcome and would be greatly appreciated. If you are able to assist on the day, please let us know asap.
