GRIP Leadership Conference
On Friday 21st of February, four of our Grade 6 students, Rosie, Jack, Harriet and Georgina, attended the GRIP Leadership Conference at the Derwent Entertainment Centre. It was a great day will lots of fantastic learning happening about what being leader means.
Here is a recount of the experience from Rosie:-
The Grip leadership Conference was an amazing opportunity for all of us. It taught us so many things. We learnt about different ways to be a leader, how to be generous and how to actually bring some ideas, that could help the school, come to life. We also did some fun games and brain breaks that helped us with confidence and giving instructions. Lots of the skills that we have learnt can be taken back and used in situations at school such as Daily PE, being a year 6 leader and just everyday learning as well. This will be useful for the future leaders at GSPS. – Rosie.
