Harmony Week 15th -22nd March and National Day of Action Against Bullying March 20th
Free Dress Day On Wednesday 18th of March we will be hold a free dress day for the whole school. Students will be asked to dress in orange (the colour of Harmony Day) or wear cultural dress or wear odd socks – all symbols of inclusion and the diversity in our school community. Students who participate will be asked to donate a gold coin and the money raised will be donated to Migrant Resource Centre to support migrants to settle successfully in Tasmania.
During Harmony Week, classes will be having discussions about Australia’s cultural diversity, inclusiveness and a sense of belonging for everyone. These themes link closely with our school value of Respect and are also associated with the anti-bullying focus of the National Day of Action Against Bullying.
