Maths Relay
On Sunday 15th September, Goulburn Street Primary were represented by 16 grade 3/4 and 5/6 students at the Tasmanian Mathematics Relays.
In teams of four, students were asked to solve 20 mathematical problems of varying difficulty in a race against other school teams. Our teams did an exceptional job and with a bit more time would have scored even better. Unfortunately we can only provide staged photos of the event, because during the relays all that could be seen of the students was the top of their heads bowed over the problems!
Well done to all who participated and a special thanks to our parents who came along to support or be a marker on the day.
